I apologize if this seems rude, but I would have to argue with Ditto McCloaker. But hey, scientists are supposed to argue over their theories. I pray this will end all conflicts of whether Yoshi is a dinosaur or a highly evolved frog. I must point out that almost everything Nintendo tells us about yoshies is concrete evidence that yoshi is a dinosaur. First off, all amphibians lay their eggs under water, and in the in many games it is shown that these creatures are born on land. I will now run through the reasons Yoshi can be a dinosaur despite it's similarities to frogs, witch I must admit were well pointed out by Ditto. Firstly, many snakes have plated scales witch are nearly invisible, witch Yoshi may well have. Also, many lizards use their long, sticky tongues as a way of eating insects. Another Idea on this point, muscles and body tissue don't fossilize, so for all anyone knows, many small dinosaurs, such as yoshies, may have used long, sticky tongues to eat insects, or possibly other things. As for egg fertilization, yoshies do have sexual organs, they are merely well hidden between the legs, and chickens are capable of laying non- fertilized eggs, so yoshies probably can too. Finally, I wish to add that Shigeru Myamato TOLD us that Yoshi a dinosaur, and in the guidelines, it clearly states that that overrules everything.
